The weekend...

Shelly finally got the chance to come and meet Jakob. Panama City is not that far away but we don't get to hang out as much as we'd like to. As you can see Shelly has the magic touch. Jakob was kinda fussy cause of his stomach, but she could get him calmed down and sleeping. We were reminiscing about how when she was pregnant with the twins me and Jeremy had been seeing a doctor, trying to get pregnant also. That was three years ago...We didn't get to be pregnant at the same time, but I'm kinda glad Shelly's already been there, cause she's so calm about things, and knows how to handle situations, so she always has good advice. I was at the hospital when Kymberly and Aaron and Ryan were born. With my "surprise" c-section Shelly didn't get to come over, but I'm glad she got to come this weekend. It was kinda surreal for me that she was actually here meeting my son this time. There were times in my life when I thought this would never happen. Our mom's were friends, and pregnant at the same time with us. We actually met for the first time (that we can remember) when we were 8 or 9. (I know Kara was a baby) I'm so glad that God gave me a best friend that has endured 17 years of putting up with me :) Through all the phases of our lives we have somehow maintained a friendship, and it's never been really hard. Love ya Shelly, and so glad we got to visit this weekend.
