Like father like son...
Yes, there is a baby somewhere hiding in this swing. When Jeremy sleeps at night he rolls up like a burrito in his blanket, I don't know how he can breathe, I get clausterphobic just thinkin about it. I covered Jakob's legs so he wouldn't get cold, and set his elephant in his lap, and came back into the room, Jake was sleeping with the blanket pulled up over his eyes and his elephant pulled up by his face. Like father like son...
Too cute.

It is facinating watching the traits of mom and dad pass on to the kiddos. Becci sleeps exactly like her dad does. You just can't learn that! I was talking with my brother about that. We are marvelling that the kids do things like grandparents and aunts and uncles. Becci also laughs and squints her eyes just like my brother does. She barely sees him! How amazing is all of this!!
One of the girls had the baby acne too. I remember there was something about it in the book I sent you.
Don't get in the habit of blaming yourself for things. :) My brother is 50 and my dad STILL blames himself for stuff he does!! Here is an overused phrase but... "it is what it is"! ;)
I'll have to look in the book and see if I can find it. It is funny and really neat to see what character traits Jakob is picking up. He's getting so much personality and losing that sleepy newborn phase. I just read in a baby magazine and they were saying you can't blame yourself for everything, so I guess it's just a new mother's instinct. I'm trying not to take every tear or scream to heart, but it's hard :)
