Well, our house is all empty and we gave it a good scrubbing yesterday (thank God for my mom and mother-in-law!!!) A few more things need to be done, but it looks really nice. It makes you wonder why you didn't touch things up while you were living there so that you could enjoy it yourself...but then again it's much easier to touch things up when the house is empty! We will be leaving for Georgia tomorrow morning sometime. We don't have internet up there yet, but hopefully will get it fairly soon after arriving. I have tons of pictures that I want to put up, but we've been going from my mom's house to Jeremy's mom's house and all my stuff is packed up. That's about all I've got for now...really exciting posts from me lately. Just keep me in your prayers. I've been doing really well, but tomorrow I think will be another story. Packing up...

My baby boy playing with all the stuff I was packing He's such a sweetheart <3 Whew! All that work will wear you out :) Well y'all, I'm almost done with my packing. Today's packing has gone slower than the last couple of days because Jeremy went to work for his going away party, and he's still not back yet. I've been feeding Jakob and playing with Jakob and in between little naps packing up stuff. All I have left is to pack some pots and pans, pack my canned goods, and go through my bathroom cabinet and see what I need to take with me. The movers called and are not coming until Monday...they will pack everything and ship it on Monday. Tomorrow we will load a trailer with stuff for the apartment and Saturday Jeremy and his dad will take it up to Cartersville. I cannot believe how fast time has gone by since we found out Jeremy got the job. I'm really ready to get to Cartersville and get settled. I'm ready to find a "new normal" in my new home. I know things won't really be normal until we get a house and are totally settled, but I'm ready to get started. Saturday I think they are having a Wii bowling party for Abi at the church. That will be alot of fun. Tuesday (my b-day) we're planning on taking Jakob to the beach for the first time...I will definitely take pictures. Love you all and hope you're having a good week. :)

O.k., so the movers are coming to pack us on the 19th (which is next Friday(!) ) and then they will pick up all the stuff to ship it to Georgia on the 23rd. February 19th is Abigails birthday, the 23rd is my birthday...That is gonna be a crazy week! Gotta order the (disney) Bolt Wii game for Abi, that is one of the only things she's been asking for (her birthday) other than a puppy, and even though I'm moving away I'm not brave enough to face my father's wrath in buying her a puppy... :) lol

Finally got our moving orders...

As always, you can expect the government to take *forever* to get things done. I was really starting to stress last night because we still knew nothing about how we're supposed to go about the move, or what is going on. This morning Jeremy e-mailed me a ton of paperwork, (probably to make me stop worrying about it) and they are sending him his pcs (permanent change of station) paperwork so that we can schedule the movers, get paid for the move and everything else that needs to be done!!! Whew! I can breathe a little now. Our realtor in Georgia has sent me some houses, and I really love two of them. There's probably four or five that I would like to live in. The house I really love has about half an acre of land and you can see the mountains from the back windows. It has a fully finished basement with two rooms and a large bathroom (which I want for when family comes to visit). It is really nice. House number two that I like (and Jeremy loves) is really cute, and it has about an acre of property and a lake behind it. The only part about that house is when Jakob is small we'll have to watch him very closely, but we need to do that anyways...so we'll see what's still available when we are ready to buy, but I do really like the mountain house :)

My little house...

So our house is officially on the market. It is a bitter sweet feeling. I know in my head that even if we stayed here we would be needing a bigger house. This house was a nice starter home, but with Jakob and all his stuff it gets smaller every day. In my heart it will be hard to leave this house. It was our first house together. There are alot of memories that we have made in that house. Unfortunately I am not wealthy enough to keep that house and also buy a new one (lol), because I would...just because it is special to me. Don't know when the movers are coming yet, but we (meaning my husband) need to make an appointment for them to come out and pack stuff up. Jeremy is like most men and just assumes you call the people up a day before you're ready for them to come and they show up...I doubt that. Especially in a military area where people are constantly coming and going...anyways, still trying not to stress. Monday I'm gonna start packing up dishes and silverware, pots and pans, spices...things we will need in the apartment, also our clothing that we will not want in storage. The house is ready to be packed up and then we can get the carpets cleaned and paint the office. Time is going by fast, and I know it will get faster as the 25th approaches!!!

Conversations...

I love how me and Cecilia, (a friend at church whose baby is a month younger than Jakob) sat in the nursing room yesterday and discussed our baby's constipation and pooping situations...I adore being a mommy :) If you'd rather not hear about Jakob's poops or his drooling, or something cute he's done then you'd better just pass by me, I've waited a long time to talk about this stuff.
