Memorial Day

Today is memorial day and I don't want to let it pass without stopping to appreciate all the men and women through history that have served this country and/or died for this country. What a blessing it is to live in a land that is free. So many times we get so caught up in our own little world that we don't stop to realize that people don't live like this everywhere. If we start to take for granted these freedoms we will not live like this in the future. My father was in the military, my great grandfather was also and we have so many friends in the church who gladly serve our country. There is no more noble cause, nor a more unappreciated one. Our soldiers deserve our gratitude and respect. I just pray that they know or will come to know Jesus Christ through their life in the military. What a sad thing to give your life for your country and die not knowing Jesus or his sweet salvation. We will be celebrating today with friends and family, most of which have served or are serving in the military. Thank-you Mr. Joe, Thanks Dad, Thanks Jill, Thanks Mr. Randy, Thanks Anthony and thanks to all the other soldiers past, present, and future. Happy Memorial Day...
