Some things Jakob has started saying that make me laugh out loud:
he comes straight to me and says: "poe beh-beh" translation: poor baby
"Da-eees home" Jakob thinks saying this actually means daddy will walk through the door. He said this all day yesterday. I kept telling him "no, daddy's at work" and he'd say "da-eee wuhk" and I'd say "that's right" and then he'd say "da-eees home" :)
Jakob likes to push buttons. Especially the button for the garage door. He hasn't quite gotten the hang of the word button though, so he just says "butt", "butt" when he wants to shut the garage door
(or ring the front door bell)
He often walks around singing a song that you can only catch a word here and there but at the end you hear a very clear "goooo wun-pets yay!"
Yesterday we were on the back porch and he kept sitting down and saying "spi-meen a-cul" I'm still learning his very unique dialect so I thought he was just asking to watch spiderman. Finally something clicked and I realized he wanted a spiderman popsicle. Yes! I'm beginning to understand the native
