Our Saturday Night

Tonight we went to Pace, Florida which is about 45 minutes away to a southern gospel concert. If you've never been to one you should go. There were two groups there, Crabb revival and Jeff and Sherri Easter. The concert was so encouraging and uplifting to me. The songs just remind you that this world is not our home and that all our trials here on earth will fade away when we see Jesus. The Crabb family sings a song called " The Reason That I'm Standing" and it says "when the reason that I'm standing stands in front of me, every battle that I've fought will fade from memory. I'll bow before his mighty throne and fall down on my knees, when the reason that I'm standing stands in front of me." How can you not be touched by those words??? It is so good for me to remember that God has never failed me and his grace is extended to me every day. Thank the Lord for those times when he makes himself real to us and his presence is realized in our lives.
