Our first Ultrasound Photos...
Well, here's a couple of pictures of my first ultrasound. I do not have a scanner, and have absolutely no idea how to use my mom's (I don't think she does either) so I had to take a picture of it, but you can get the general idea. It is so amazing to me that this tiny little person is growing inside of me. Everything is going well, the baby's heartbeat is shown in the first picture, the doctor said it was a good heartbeat. I am still on all the medications (estrogen and progesterone) until the placenta produces enough hormones to keep the pregnancy there. The progesterone shots are the worst. On the pamphlet they send you it says not to put the needle in a place that's already been stuck. You only have a little square in which to put the shot, so you don't hit nerves or anything like that. I think we've shot every square inch already, so it's really painful when I get my shot. It bleeds most of the time, because the needle has to go into a place that's bruised under the skin. The rest of the meds are just pills, so I can handle that. We won't know what to do when there's no more shots!!! I am definitely looking forward to it though. I've read of a few girls who stopped the medications at 12 weeks, so I still have a while to go. It's funny, cause normally I hate taking medication, but this situation is so important, I will take anything, do anything, I'm just so grateful to have this baby on the way! Hope you all have a good weekend. -Me

That's so exciting! When my sister was pregnant the 2nd time, my brother-in-law used to call the "baby" peanut. They found out later that she was carrying twins, and then he said he should have known because peanuts have 2 nuts in them. ....So, maybe you'll have twins too??
