My Mom would be so proud of me...I have a meatloaf cooking in the oven right now. The things we do for love!!!

Well, I probably should have posted this earlier, but we are still waiting to find out if Jeremy got the job in Pensacola or not. Jeremy found out from a friend that they didn't finish interviews till Wednesday, so they will not be contacting people until maybe the middle/end of this coming week. Jeremy's buddy from Jackson Guard applied for the job too, so they have both told each other that if they get offered the job one will call the other (as you are only notified usually if you're offered the job) I have been trying to wait on the Lord and not be impatient, which is why I haven't thought to put this up...we'll see. I will be glad when he gets a different job because this anxious anticipation is for the birds!!! lol

There is nothing sweeter than going in to the room to get my little fella up from his nap and he pulls up on the side of his crib and silently waves hi to me :)<3 <3 <3

O.k so I have to just say something y'all. Now that I've figured out how to get my videos back on here you are gonna see my horribly messy house more often. I honestly do try to keep my house cleaned up, but I have a nine month old, and I have decided that I'm not gonna stress about toys being everywhere, or not let Jakob have fun because of what people will think of my living room. Also I have nowhere to keep most of my things, so if you see something random lying on the floor, please excuse it , and when I have a bigger house I will do my best to keep things put where they belong (lol) Now here's a video of Jakob saying hi. Yes, I do make ridiculous noises, and whatever else it takes to get Jakob to look at me. I am now one of those moms... :)

Jakey's first haircut cont...

during haircut not a happy boy :( still not happy after haircut now he's happy!!! Jakob actually did really well for his first haircut. I was afraid that he'd be freaked out about the noise that my clippers make, I really need to get a new pair soon (mine are 8 years old!!!) Of course he didn't really like me pushing on his head, but he didn't cry much, and after daddy took pictures he played with daddy and got his "little man" haircut. He has been so hot lately and sweaty, I know he will still sweat, but at least he won't have a lot of wet hair. Isn't my little man so handsome???

I propped up Jakob's matress last night, so his head is elevated above his feet and he slept much better. He must have been really really tired because he even slept in the room with us. He woke up once at midnight and once at 5 this morning, so I would say that he's getting more rest than he was. Jeremy had another person call him for an interview yesterday. It's for the same job as P'cola but it's located in South Florida. I don't even know why he applied for that one, we know we don't want to live in South Florida. Hopefully in a couple days we'll hear about the Pensacola job. We called yesterday and dropped the price of our house by a big chunk. Our house is definitely the best house in the price range that it's in. We've got to put in a request for our household goods to stay in storage for another 90 days. Hopefully we'll be able to sell our house by then and get a bigger place where our things will fit. If not, I guess we're looking at putting it in storage here somewhere. I am really hoping though that with the price change our house will sell rather quickly

Jakob had a *very* rough night last night. I had given him some baby motrin thinking that it was his teeth bothering him. He screamed till about 4 o'clock this morning. I knew then that he probably has an ear infection. I called the doctors office and they got him in this morning. He has an infection in the right ear. No fever, a little bit of a runny nose, no other symptoms. They weighed him and he's 20 lbs. 15.5 oz. He was 20.1 lbs. at 6 months. I guess his busyness is keeping him around the same weight. All I know is he feels heavier than before, though he doesn't look as chunky as he was at 6 months. They prescribed him some amoxycillin (sp) and she went ahead and gave me the cream for yeast infections, because he got a bad one last time. He is fine during the day, at night when he lays down it puts pressure on his ears and then he's in pain. My poor baby :(
