Jakob had a *very* rough night last night. I had given him some baby motrin thinking that it was his teeth bothering him. He screamed till about 4 o'clock this morning. I knew then that he probably has an ear infection. I called the doctors office and they got him in this morning. He has an infection in the right ear. No fever, a little bit of a runny nose, no other symptoms. They weighed him and he's 20 lbs. 15.5 oz. He was 20.1 lbs. at 6 months. I guess his busyness is keeping him around the same weight. All I know is he feels heavier than before, though he doesn't look as chunky as he was at 6 months. They prescribed him some amoxycillin (sp) and she went ahead and gave me the cream for yeast infections, because he got a bad one last time. He is fine during the day, at night when he lays down it puts pressure on his ears and then he's in pain. My poor baby :(

Oooh, poor baby Jake! Poor Mommy and Daddy. Hope you all were able to get some sleep today. Give him kisses and I'll try to call you before church tonight.
That's so sad. I hate to see little babies hurt like that. Jarred used to get ear infections so badly that he had to have tubes in his ears at like 6 months.

Poor baby Jakob, it not like you to get up so many times during the night, Jakob you have a smart mommy who knew something was wrong. you'll be better real soon. Gamma loves ya :)
