All in a days work...

Jeremy helped rescue a manatee yesterday. The water down here has been so cold and the manatee got stuck in a canal and was freezing to death. He said it took about 20 people to move the animal and it was still soooo heavy. They relocated the manatee to Sea World. Pretty cool

Pretty cool indeed. I will admit, I had to look up what a manatee was... :)

I Love the christmas pictures!Cooking Christmas dinner IS a big deal. Now we do it pitch-in style so nobody has to do it alone. That is awesome about the manatee.Your Husband is a conseravtion officer?Thats what I told David He did and He thinks it looks like the "coolest job ever"...anyways.David is into this show called "wild justice".Does Jeremy do stuff like that?

Cat-That made me laugh. It's so funny we're from the same country, but two totally different worlds :)
Jen-That's how holiday dinner is at my mom's house. Jeremy's mom cooks some, I cook some, my mom cooks some, whoever else comes cooks too. Compared to those my dinner was not huge, but I was proud of it. Jeremy's job is actually titled "invasive plant species biologist" basically he's in charge of figuring out how to eliminate plants that do not belong in Fl. and clog up waterways so that boats cannot get where they need to go. His job is very flexible though, and he also gets to help with controlled burning and anything else they want him to help with, which includes rescuing manatees (I guess) If you're an outside kind of guy then this is the kind of job you'd love. We've never seen "wild justice" will have to see if any of it is on Netflix :)

How exciting! Remember all the manatees we saw at Sea World that had scars from boat propellers? Maybe we'll get to see that one when we get to go. I know it was a great experience for JP. Were they able to get any pictures? It'd be fun for Jakob to get to see his dad at work. Love you!
