My first Thanksgiving this year...

Yesterday @ work we had the Thanksgiving dinner for the kids and their families. It is always a stressful time, the kids get thrown way off schedule and we have to make sure everything is ready to feed all the kids plus a parent or two (plus some grandparents also). Once the day is started though, and everyone's eating and talking it's so much fun. I guess when you run a daycare you really want to be a family atmosphere, and this dinner really makes you feel like the holidays have arrived! I'm very blessed to have alot of great kids and great parents in my class this year. I enjoyed talking with them and enjoying "my kids" with them. I went home last night and was completely exhausted. I went to bed at 7:30. I don't know why but I think the Lupron just drains me. I have learned not to fight the tiredness. Obviously my body needs to recharge, so I will let it. I'm excited to celebrate Thanksgiving with our friends (we'll eat at mom's house) and get a few days off of work (after yesterday I can't wait to eat all that food again) Hope you all have a great weekend.! -me (oh yeah, the turkey t-shirts were a BIG hit!) :)
