Learning to be thankful
I went to the doctor on Friday, but I have been a little busy this weekend, and really just haven't had the urge to blog. There's not much to tell about the appointment. My ovaries are getting back to normal size, and my weight is back down, so I think the OHSS is gone. Tomorrow Linda is supposed to call me and let me know what meds I need to start taking and when. Right now I have started having really bad cramps, and the doctor says to expect some spotting because I am on the birth control pills. I keep trying to remind myself that in about a month and a half this will be over. Whether we end up pregnant or not I will be done with this cramping and painful ovaries. I was driving home tonight, thinking that I hope we get a couple of children from these embryos that we have cryopreserved. If we don't though, I'm done. This has been a very difficult experience and so hard on me emotionally and physically that I'm just exhausted and ready for this to be over. Lord willing we will get news of a little blessing around Christmas time. On another note, we had a "family fun night" on friday night at the church, and it was so much fun! I was debating on whether or not to do any physical games, considering I'm still kinda recouping from the horrors of OHSS. My girlfriends (Jill, Jaylene, Natali, Callie, and Rachel) and my sisters (Amber and Kara) and I all played volleyball and had a great time. I really love my friends, and they have all been so compassionate to me and really helped me through some very tough times. Of course at any good Baptist fellowship you have to have tons of food. The food was great, the fellowship was great and it was nice to hang out. Hope you all have a great week, and let's try even with our trials in mind to remember God and all his goodness to us. -Just waking up in the morning is a miracle, I've also learned good health is definitely something to be thankful for!!!- Oh yeah.... GO GATORS!!!!
