My little character...

* So Jakob has discovered the toilet paper in the bathroom...Any time I don't hear him I just go down the hallway to the bathroom, and the toilet paper is unwrapped and shredded into little pieces. Once he shreds it he tries to eat it, but I've caught him every time before he does. I try to keep the bathroom door closed because last time he pulled up on the tub and was eating the soap, though I think he learned his lesson because he has not tried that again. (lol)
* Whenever I feed Jakob he makes really funny faces at me and last night he kept "fake laughing" going hahaha with a cheesy grin.
* Whenever someone calls on the webcam the computer rings kinda like a phone and wherever Jakob is he stops and crawls really fast to me because he wants to see who's on the computer :)
* Jakob has another tooth. It is the tooth on the left next to his front top teeth. He has been pretty uncomfortable lately, and I think it's because of this tooth and the one on the opposite side, which is almost through also
* Jakob says hi (haiiiiiii) and waves to people
* Jakey is also learning to clap. He waves his arms together and says yahhhh but he doesn't actually clap yet. When he does something he wants you to notice he will say yahhhh and then I clap for him and he tries to clap.
I seriously cannot believe that my baby boy is 9 months old. I read someone's blog who said that the heartache of infertility seemed to last so long and now that my baby is here the months are just flying by. I totally agree with that. In 3 months we will celebrate Jakob's 1st birthday. There were times when I didn't know if I'd ever have a child to celebrate a birthday with. I just look at him sometimes and tell him what a miracle he is. In case you couldn't tell...I L-O-V-E this little boy!!!

Reading with daddy...

On Thursday the 20th we went to the Tellus Science Museum is Cartersville. It was a lot of fun. They had dinosaur bones on display and a "science in motion" display that had old cars and space crafts and stuff like that. They had a digital planetarium which was really cool, but I only got to sit through the very beginning of it because Jakob didn't like it very much. They also had a place where kids could dig for fossils. Little pieces of fossils. Whatever they dug up they could keep. We got Jakey a couple of sharks teeth and a piece of an old fossil...can't remember the name of it. The fossil digging place had little pieces of sand colored rubber (like the stuff they use at playgrounds) instead of sand, and Jakob ate a few pieces I think. (gross I know, but what can I do???) We try to keep him from ingesting everything in sight, but it is often a struggle. I had grabbed some batteries on our way out the door for my camera (just in case) and wouldn't ya know it once I had taken these pictures my batteries died. I didn't look at the batteries I had grabbed and they were AAA, so they wouldn't work with my camera. These are the only pictures we have of Jakob on his actual 9 Month birthday because he wasn't feeling too hot that night. I think it might have been all the rubber in his belly. lol
This is what happens when daddy feeds Jake...thankfully daddy said "I think I need to give him a bath"

Well girls,
I have deleted my facebook account. It was fun for a while, but I'm kinda over it. I would also like to focus on my blogging a little more (don't hold me to that!!!) and letting everyone in on our little life here.

An update on the job interview:
I talked with Jeremy this afternoon, and he said that the job in Pensacola is a brand new position that they have just created. The job is working with the airline (Pensacola NAS) doing b.a.s.h. work. (B.a.s.h.=bird air strike hazard) what it basically is is managing the landscape in a way that keeps animals (birds, deer, vultures and other wildlife) off of the major runways in Pensacola. If animals get to be a problem on the runway then they either trap them and relocate them, or have to kill them. (depending on the abundance of the certain animal) Pensacola NAS has never had a bash program before, so Jeremy thinks that they will be looking more for someone who has run the program somewhere else. The guy who interviewed Jeremy told him they had 2 people who've run the management programs elsewhere apply for the job. What does that mean for us??? Well, the obvious is that Jeremy will probably not get the job. We are praying though, and if God closes that door then we will be o.k. with it. What I'd like you all to pray with me about is the selling of our house if FL. If Jeremy gets the job in P'cola then we can live in our house till we can sell it. If he doesn't get this job then we are going to try to find a realtor who will seriously dedicate themselves to selling our house. If I don't know how much longer we'll be here in Ga then I need my stuff. We've been 3 months sleeping on an air mattress, without dressers for our clothes, or many cooking utensils. I'm just ready to have my stuff again. If we sell our house and don't have to pay the mortgage on it then we can either move to a bigger apartment or look for a townhouse to rent. (Since we will not be owning a house I really don't want to have to bother with a yard and upkeep of a house) I have so much to be thankful for, yet I have been feeling kinda down today, realizing that we still may not know what we're doing or where we're going after this Friday. I know God has a plan, and I'm trying to patiently wait on him...I'm sure everyone knows that point when you're trusting/not trusting at the same time. I keep trying to tell myself not to think about it, but it is hard not to when I'm in "limbo" as I like to call it. Just pray for me :)
Love you all.
Thanks for the prayers everyone. Jeremy said the interview went really well. They will be calling the end of next week to let him know what's going on. I feel like I'm just holding my breath and trusting, I really want us to make the best decision

Jeremy has an interview for the job on Friday morning at 10:00. Please pray that we will know what God's will for us is. I know ultimately that He is in control. Love you all.

Another prayer request y'all...Please remember Sarah (my new friend who's expecting triplets) she has been put on total bed rest. She's due in July, but they're wanting her to make it to the middle of June with the boys. She's already looking like she's full term, and can barely breathe, lots of swelling, so if you think of her say a little prayer :)
