Hair on my mind...and head :)

When I got my haircut in August it was not exactly what I was thinking. I didn’t really have any idea what I wanted, so I ended up with that haircut. It was a good haircut and it was cute. The problem with the last haircut was that 3 weeks after I got it I already needed it trimmed again, thanks in part to my curly hair. I had a giant wad of hair on one side of my head. Not.Cool.!!!  The other day I stood in front of the mirror and layered the front of my hair to get rid of the giant pouf, and I like the way it looks now. I think I can survive until October when I have my next hair appointment. In the meantime I was debating what to do with my hair next. When me and Amber talk on skype we often instant message each other (through skype) and send each other photos of things we talk about (shoes, dresses, hair, etc.) Amber sent me these pictures and said I should go all out and get a pixie. I actually kinda wanted a pixie cut last time but totally chickened out and left it a little longer in the front. Well, I think this time I’m going to take the plunge. I will not show fear (though I may be feeling it!) and I’m just going to tell her cut my hair like this picture. I have decided that I will either love it and be the happiest person ever, or I will hate it and have forever reminders of the worst haircut decision ever with all of Kara’s wedding pics :)

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I'm so happy! You know I dreamed that I cut my hair the other night? It's prolly because my stinking bangs are growing out to accomodate my desired wedding hair style too :) I can't wait to see your new hair, you have no idea how jealous I' going to be because my face is way too round to sport Jennifer Goodwin's cut. I adore it! I really can't wait to see it!!

oooh, i can't wait to see this on you. it's a super adorable cut. you are so brave. i know i am a former hairstylist, and i would always be the one who could easily say, "it's just hair. it grows." but i can't seem to ever console myself with those words nowadays when i get my hair trimmed. i am on edge when those scissors touch my hair, and i'm inwardly hoping that the hairstylist is obeying my "no more than an inch off" rule. i'm so bad lol. what a hypocrite i am. i've turned into such a chicken. i guess i also feel like i will only be able to have a long hairstyle before my face starts looking old and saggy, that one day i'll have to cut it off.
i sure do love chopping other people's hair off and talking people into going shorter though! haha.

btw, you, amber, and i should skype sometime=)

Diana- If I had your hair I would freak out about getting it cut too. It is so pretty long.
Dana- If it looks good I will definitely put a picture up. If it looks awful then we'll see... :D

I didn't even see this post until just now, it's 11:31pm. I had no idea you were thinking of doing this. How funny that I picked out some of the same ones!! I think she's really pretty and love her hairstyles!! Yeah, so I just sent you an email about my hair color, you can read it and laugh at me. I'm excited to get my hair cut tomorrow. I decided to go with the Victoria Beckham cut. I'll text you pics after. Hopefully after I wash my hair like crazy for the next week it'll fade some, lol. Jarred hates it. Like I said in my email though, this is a piece of cake compared to being bald. I guess it's all a matter of perspective. I'm just happy to have hair to play with again :)

<3 you!
